Hello fellow Moors!

I have been asked by Barry Dagestino (see his letter below) to begin updating our database of contact information in preparation for the 50th Reunion.  Would you by email please

(a) confirm that you received this email, and
(b) send your current name (both 1962 and now), address, and phone number.

We promise that this information will not be shared with anyone outside of our reunion committee.

Please reply with information and/or questions to read @ gilgenart.com

I hope to hear from you all by October 1, at which time I will resort to snail mail for all those who haven’t replied.  Also, after you send me your basic information, please check the website’s “lost list” and get back to me with any updates you know about.

Thanks!!  We’re looking forward to a great reunion!

From Barry:

September 2010

Guess what?  It’s been nearly 50 years (a half century) since we graduated from Alhambra High School.  It’s time to begin plans for our fiftieth reunion in 2012.

We’ve all taken different paths along the way, and unfortunately, some of us haven’t been heard from in a long time.  Our first step, then, is to locate as many of our classmates as possible so we can invite everyone to join in the celebration of our next reunion.

I have asked Read Gilgen to coordinate the effort at locating our classmates.  He is maintaining a database of names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.

Experience shows us, however, that even our current database will be outdated, and  a good many of us will appear to be “lost.”  We all may know where we are (perhaps), but Read won’t.  So can you help by sending any information you can about other classmates?

In this electronic age, to the extent that we can, let’s share our information by website and email.  Please see the AHS 62 website at http://ahs62.com.   Listed there is a list of “lost” classmates, as well as the email addresses of committee members even classmates who have submitted their bios.

We look forward to a fabulous 50th reunion and thank you in advance for your help in finding all of our classmates.

Yours,

Barry Dagestino
